RAIA Professional Risk Services, a division of IBL Limited, commenced operations in 1974 as RPRS with its primary objective to efficiently provide Professional Indemnity Insurance to members of the Royal Australian Iinstitute of Architects.

The 1980's saw RPRS consolidate its position as the principal supplier of Professional Indemnity insurance to the architectural profession, using its influence to achieve risk rating across the body of the profession.

The past decade has seen RPRS embrace a wider range of activities, and with the provision of claims and risk management services to members of the RAIA the customer base has broadened.

The Architects Facility remains profitable for insurers and the RPRS vision and strategies adopted 5 years ago to embrace risk managemement has now proven to be successful by driving down transactional costs, claims costs through the development of its unique package of services.

In the 1980's RPRS re-engineered its business changing from a 'Broker' managing transactional business to a 'Service Provider' delivering a package of services, including advice, insurance facility placement and management, risk management and claims management.
